Turks & Caicos First Insurance Company Ltd. is the Turks & Caicos Islands first indigenous Insurance Company with its head office in TCI. TCFI was registered in the Turks and Caicos on 29th December 1993 and has been working hard to serve the needs of the people of TCI ever since. In 2007 ICWI (Cayman) Ltd, a subsidiary of the well-established Jamaican and regional insurer The Insurance Company of The West Indies Ltd., acquired all the shares of TCFIC's non-TCI based shareholders and entered into a relationship with TCFIC thereby strengthening TCFIC's insurance expertise and its ability to serve its clients.

This means that Turks & Caicos First Insurance is not merely a broker taking a commission and sending your premiums offshore to another Caribbean Island. TCFIC uses a proportional reinsurance treaty to mitigate risk to its own account ceding to Reinsurers with excellent security. Claims decisions are made right here in Turks & Caicos and claims checks are issued in our office drastically reducing claims turnaround time.

We provide Motor, Property, Commercial, Contractors All Risk, Bonds and Commercial and Pleasure boat insurance in the beautiful TCI.
