Dempsey & Company is a member of the Finbar F. Dempsey & Company group (established 1969). As such, the firm is part of the longest established, and only second generation legal practice, in the Turks and Caicos. The firm's offices were opened in 1986 to provide more accessible legal and corporate services to resident and international clients on the rapidly developing island of Providenciales. Dempsey & Company was established by Finbar F. Dempsey, who is the most senior attorney practicing in the Turks & Caicos. Finbar Dempsey who now practices from his offices on the neighboring island Grand Turk under the name and style of Finbar F. Dempsey & Company is the founder and principal of Dempsey & Company and actively consults on larger commercial and development matters. Finbar F. Dempsey & Company and Dempsey & Company are associated firms pooling resources and expertise acquired in over thirty years of practice. Dempsey & Company comprises four attorneys and a small support staff, indicative of a continuing commitment to quality of personnel and service in preference to rapid expansion. Each of the firm's attorneys were trained and admitted to practice in the Republic of Ireland prior to their admission to the bar of the Turks & Caicos.
